Toyota Cash for Clunkers Incentives

Like many other automakers, Toyota is now officially taking part in the car Allowance Rebate System - CARS, or “Cash for Clunkers.” Under the scheme, car buyers who turn in certain old cars can receive a government rebate of up to $4500 toward the price of a new car.

Seventeen Toyota models, six Lexus models, and all three Scions are eligible for the plan. (The Lexus IS F,  sadly, is ineligible.) Toyota also plans to offer special 60-month lease rates on the Yaris, Corolla, non-hybrid Camry, RAV4, and Tacoma for buyers taking advantage of CARS.
