The insurer therefore recommends calling the company to verify identity, preferably from a landline via an official listing in a telephone directory.

Cornish Mutual was founded by farmers over one hundred years ago and currently has around 20,000 members.

It has recently secured a new reinsurance deal with Ecclesiastical which will provide the capacity to offer insurance for larger risks.
