THB to launch Cardinus Risk Management brand

THB is undertaking a restructure aimed at developing a new brand for the UK and US risk management markets.

The specialist broker is launching cardinus Risk Management which is being formed from the merger of THB Risk Management - Property Risk Management, and cardinus, its health and safety consultancy.

The new business will be led by a senior management team including Andy Hawkes, James Truscott, Jon Abbott and Marcus Noble.

Group chief executive, Frank Murphy, comments: “THB has been developing its risk management operations in recent years … by combining these businesses and their impressive client lists we now have one clear brand through which to take full advantage of the rapidly-growing market.”

In September, the firm relocated to new offices in East Grinstead to allow for future growth and earlier this month it appointed an additional executive director to the main Board.

Steve Matanle, who joined THB in the Spring as chief executive of its Lloyd’s broker operations, is continuing with his existing duties in addition to the directorship.
