The 747 in the name of Novitec Rosso’s latest creation refers not to the massive jetliner, but to the power output of the company’s modified Ferrari 430 Scuderia: 747 hp and 544 lb-ft of torque.

The massive increase, up from 503 hp and 347 lb-ft in the stock Ferrari, comes courtesy of twin superchargers. Novitec Rosso also adds a larger radiator and oil cooler, plus a reprogrammed engine computer and bigger fuel injectors. The Edizione 747 reportedly hits 62 mph in 3.4 seconds and, if equipped with new gearing, can run to 217 mph.

Wheels jump to 20 inches all round and wear Michelin Pilot Cup tires, while stiffer springs lower the Ferrari’s ride height by 1.2 inch. Novitec Rosso paints the modified car in gray with yellow stripes, a scheme that extends to the wheels. There are also blacked-out taillights and side markers. Interior touches comprise a leather-and-carbon-fiber steering wheel with carbon-fiber shift paddles that are longer than stock.
