Quinn targets SMEs with TV ads
Ireland-based insurer Quinn Group has launched a new TV advertising campaign promoting its commercial insurance to Irish SMEs.
Research by Quinn found many small businesses in Ireland are unaware of the firm’s commercial insurance arm.
“We have over one million customers in Ireland and the majority of them do not have an appreciation of the scale and diversity of the Quinn Group or knowledge of the history of the group,” said Kevin Lunney, Quinn’s group development director.
Trees, a 60-second advert with the strapline “Supporting Irish Business, Growing Irish Jobs”, will run for several months on Irish TV.
Mark Hogan, of Owens DDB, the advertising agency that put together the campaign, said: “Our strategy is to focus on the diversity, success, longevity and history of the Quinn Group itself.”
Insurance firms in Ireland have bucked the recession-induced trend of cutting advertising budgets.
Ireland’s insurance sector increased advertising spend 24% in the first half of this year.
