MMA appoints operational claims director

MMA Insurance, the broker insurer, has announced the appointment of Andrew Wooster as operational claims director.

The hire has been made with the intention of enhancing the firm’s claims proposition.

He joined the firm 16 years ago and has held positions in finance, operational management, customer services and claims.

Wooster will be directly responsible to Claims Director Bob Perry, himself recently appointed, and will be tasked with management of the claims department’s operations to ensure business priorities are met.

In addition to this he will be responsible for a multi-discipline change programme to bolster MMA’s claims customer service offering, and the development and implementation of credit hire strategy and the optimisation of productivity across the claims area.

Perry has warmly welcomed the appointment and praised Wooster’s strong track record, describing his new appointment as hugely beneficial to MMA and the brokers it serves.
