Green car Innovation at Its BestThe international German Auto Show brought out the wow factor as those in attendance were stunned by the beauty and innovation that went on display at this year’s auto exhibition in Frankfurt, Germany. The German auto industry is one of the few in the world to experience an upturn in car
sales in an unstable economic market and troubled car industry especially in the United States. Recent months have seen the German car industry with soaring car sells giving the hope that the luxury car industry shall not be a relic of the past just yet. The latest in green technology, Hybrid and electrical car advancements were on display respectfully. New models of extreme luxury cars such as Lamborghini, Bentley, Aston Martin, Mercedes and Ferrari sparkled in the spotlight. Each car manufactures on displayed met the awesome task of bringing the “green” factor with new sleek lined looks in attempt to stand well ahead of the pack. At this years auto show, the human models standing along side these magnificently formed new additions to leading automakers like new BMW 135i Coupe, new Audi A4 and Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead were scarcely noticed. Gone green was definitely the main theme of the automakers at this year German Auto show with the leaders of the industry car not just answering the call for car innovation but offering new sleek even futuristic cars to meet every ecological footprint need there is. The event was opened by sitting German Chancellor Angela Merkel who expressed optimism for the future of the German auto industry while at the same time suggesting that widespread “electro-mobility” car use was still some ways off. BMW appeared to provide the most sci-fi futuristic car ala the Jetson car with their stunning BMW’s Vision EfficientDynamics Concept car. While Toyota’s new concept vehicle, the IQ is compact and very practical for the average everyday car user.
