It is generally used for wire wheels but works just as well as overspray remover. Steel wool works well on windows but make sure it is very fine. You just need to gently run it over the window and the overspray will come off. Razor blades work equally as well on windows, but be careful to angle and position it carefully to avoid scratches. This is not ideal due to the fact that if you have a new paint job on the car it will damage this so extra care needs to be taken.
