I am living in a state where the usage of radar detectors is not prohibited. I bought this Beltronics STi Driver Radar Detector for using it on interstate highways while I travel on long trips. I have not used a lot of other radar detector products but since I have done some research I have an insight of the technology behind them and the countermeasure techniques.

The STI radar detector came with a neat package in metal casing and with necessary accessories. The case contained the mounting bracket and the power card for the detector. The instructions provided for the detector were very simple and easy to read. They helped me use the buttons with multiple functions as well as the selector switches easily. The packaging it comes in makes it easy to take it out and set it up. The packaging is simple and the unit itself looks cool.

I started from my home to South Florida in my car and the radar detector helped me to spot a lot of speed traps. The mounting hardware that is provided with the device was helpful in one-handed relocation of the device. The power cord is of good length and made of durable material. The Beltronics STi Driver Radar Detector’s construction and design is totally smart and the material is very tough and rugged to withstand rough usage daily. Though I am not sure about the internal components and circuits I am happy with the product and I love using it. It has saved me from getting caught in lots of speed traps on the interstate highways during my long trips and without the use of this product I could have paid a huge amount of fines.
