AA partners Moorhouse in commercial lines offer
AA Insurance has launched a range of own-brand products aimed at small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
The group has joined forces with Moorhouse Brands, a subsidiary of Welsh broker Moorhouse, to develop an offering that contains a range of policies tailored for SMEs, trades people and the construction industry.
The selection includes liability insurance, professional indemnity; fleet insurance; goods in transit; pub and hotel cover; shop; office and landlord insurance.
According to AA Insurance, the agreement with Moorhouse includes a fully-branded website and marketing resource.
The group’s spokesman, Simon Douglas, says many AA members own SMEs or are trades people and the move will open new avenues for AA Insurance.
He adds: “We chose to partner with Moorhouse because it reflects our ethos of providing straightforward, value-for-money insurance from a trusted brand.”
Mr Douglas expects the new commercial lines offering to have considerable customer appeal and there are already plans to expand the range.
